Lajos Szabados is chief physician of the Conventional Nuclear Medicine unit at Scanomed, Debrecen (Hungary). 
Lajos graduated in medicine at the University of Debrecen and specialized in nuclear medicine in 2006. Since then he gathered also extensive experience in teaching and training medical fellows. Dr. Szabados is actively involved in giving lectures and hands-on training to Hungarian and foreign students in nuclear medicine. He is also involved in the training of BSc level imaging technicians. 
He is responsible for clinical part of the 2-week training sessions organized in co-operation by Mediso Ltd and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Lajos Szabados is involved in all ongoing pharmaceutical studies at Scanomed’s Nuclear Medicine Centers. 
Dr. Szabados is a member of various national and international Medicine organizations, such as the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) and the Hungarian Society of Nuclear Medicine (MONT).
